All top 5 place-getters at the 2009 IFBB Ms Figure Olympia contest (won by Nicole Wilkins-Lee) will be competing here as well as the 2009 Olympia Ms Bikini Champion, Sonia Gonzales. Several other top IFBB Professional competitors will be here, including Australasia’s best – Rosa-Maria Romero … and of course NZ’s own Sesa Tomuli who will be making her IFBB Pro debut!

This weekend is the New Zealand Pro Figure and Bikini championships. I can understand there being few bikini competitors as it’s new, mainly consists of women from the Unites States and the trip isn’t cheap. There are a number of figure competitors outside of the United States but when I last heard there are only FOUR figure competitors in the line-up. There’s constant chatter about there not being enough shows outside of the United States yet when there is so few show up. Three out of the four women will qualify for the 2010 Figure Olympia.

I dont get this show. I truly respect Moe - the promoter - and they having pro figure show but I just dont get the idea.

First of all I dont get the idea why that was written about outside of US competitors. Hey Sherlock, it is even more expensive and longer to fly to NZ from Europe than from US. Why on earth anyone would pay 3000$ flights and travel 2x30 hours to compete in a ONE show which I am quite sure will not get that much attention // coverage.... if u with less money and 1/2 time can fly to US and take like 2-3 shows in a row. The only reason I would see someone doing this show would be a good possibility to get Olympia qualification. BUT.. who on earth would even try if promoter tells that TOP 5 from Olympia will be there.. pretty best of the bests dont u think? So in other words, no real chances to even get olympia qualification. I see no point why anyone would compete there. Even if I truly support pro shows and pro shows outside of US.

Nicole WIlkins will be there but not competing.

So, how many competitors will compete Anne? Last year the show was cancelled!!

I have no idea how many will show up because IFBBpro league has not given any list of competitors. Weird.

Anyway, I do know that Australian girl Rosa Romero will be competing even though she already qualified to the Olympia at Phoenix show.

Also New Zealand girl Sesa Tomuli will make her pro debut at this show.

Sonia Gonzales oke I thought she was Figure (to be honnets I missed the miss Bikini at the O because it feels weird to me that bikini has anything to do with fitness and bodybuilding).....this proves Bikini and figure are almost the same...oke maybe when you are bikini you can eat one hamburger more.......LOL

There was no bikini class at the olympia..

And yes, thats why I did not put any results of bikini here cause in my opinion, it does not belong in this whole NPC/IFBB. ..... ridiculous.

Well I was s suprised reading (and it says so on the flyer) this so I figured I missed. But I guess not.....well missed it...if I would have known I would`nt have gone anyways.....
